Obstacles to Progress
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” It’s easy to start things but often hard to finish, and the halfway point is usually when things get tough and we find ourselves ready to quit. This week we’re taking a look at some of the many different ways we can get sidetracked from a God-given goal. Nehemiah battled against this from all sides, without and within, but still persevered in completing his goal. What are some of the things that can keep us from crossing our own finish lines? How do we resist the temptation to give up when we’re facing yet another obstacle? Where can we find the motivation to keep going when things get tough? Join us as we learn from Nehemiah’s example and get a strategy to run our own race to completion as we continue our series.
