Opposition

In 2 Timothy 3:12 there is a promise that, as Christians, we may not like very much. It states “everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.” As we continue our study in the book of Nehemiah, Nehemiah and his friends are going to find this principle to be quite true. What types of opposition can we expect to face in life? What is our game plan in the face of opposition? How does the story of Nehemiah inspire us in our toughest times? As we consider Nehemiah and his friends’ response to the opposition in their lives, we can find ourselves equipped to face the opposition that will inevitably come in our own lives as we seek to live godly lives in Christ Jesus.
