Jesus is Life

As John closes out his first letter to the early church he reminds them, and us, of some very powerful truths. There are several facts that are deeply foundational to our faith, but after being familiar with them for long enough, our human nature tends to forget just how profound these truths actually are, and we run the risk of falling into a cycle of complacency and indifference. What are some of the fundamental truths about Jesus? What are some ways to reignite the fire and passion for Him in our hearts? How do we avoid falling into a rut in regard to our faith?
