Jesus is Superior!

In life, it is normal for one of the things we strive for is to have the best. The best car, home, job, relationship, the list goes on. But the writer of Hebrews reminds us that there is something, or someone actually, that is far superior to everything. Jesus, who even the angels worship, is superior to everything in every single way. Our daily distractions and the pressures of the outside world can sometimes cloud our thinking, causing us to forget this fact, but as we read this section of Scripture, we are reminded in the many ways that Christ is greater than it all, and that nothing else will ever be worthy of our worship. How do we destroy the illusion of something better? What are some of the ways Jesus’ superiority is revealed to us in Scripture? How do we fight against the enemies of Salvation?
