Power to Heal

Can you imagine being desperate for a healing, spending all of your money and resources only to get worse and worse, but then finally meeting someone with the power to change it all because He alone has the power to heal your broken body? This is one of the stories we’re looking at this week as we hear about a woman who was out of options, desperate, yet expectant, as she reached out to Jesus with the faith that He could make her whole again. In the fallen world we live in, most of us need healing in one form or another, be it physical, spiritual, or emotional, there is a desperate need for the healing hand of God in our lives. How are we supposed to pray for healing today? What does it mean to be imbued with the power of the Holy Spirit? Why can we bring our needs to God with a sense of expectation?
