Wait for the Lord

Generally, we don’t like to wait. We live in a culture of instant gratification, and that expectation has come to cover just about every aspect of our lives. When we find ourselves in times of waiting, it can be difficult, and when it comes to waiting on the Lord for something we truly desire, it can be even harder. This aspect of our faith requires discipline and obedience. Patience does not come naturally to us, but with our trust in the Lord, we need never lose hope. Why does God make us wait?
