The Tabernacle

This week, we’re taking a look at some of the ways the Old Testament ties into the New Testament, and get a clearer look at our Salvation. At the time of the Old Testament, all of the rules and rituals associated with the Tabernacle ultimately pointed toward the cross. In the New Testament, the Jewish people were having difficulty understanding the concept of Salvation, how complete it is, and what it meant for them in the way they were to live their lives. How did the tabernacle transform into the temple, and what does that temple look like today? Why don’t we need to make sacrifices anymore? What does the indwelling of the Spirit mean for present-day Christians? Join us as we study the unity of Scripture and learn how to rest secure in our Salvation as we continue our series.
