Created for a Mission

As we continue our series on discerning what our purpose is, we look to the example that Jesus set in place for us. Last week taught us that we are created to grow into the image of Christ, yes, but it doesn’t just stop there! We were also created for a mission; not only a global one, but a unique personal mission as well. In the times we’re living in it can be hard to conceive of what our missions could look like but, as ever, Scripture has wisdom, insight, and encouragement for all situations. What do each of our missions look like? How do we go about fulfilling them? What do we do in the face of our own fear or resistance? The individual missions that we have been set on are not only a command, but a privilege. Through our obedient faith, God grows and equips us to do His will here on earth! Watch and see the hope that we can have for the future as we learn our proper responses towards each of our missions as we continue our series.
