Jesus is King

This week, we’re going to be looking at the narrative found in John 6, where the crowds tried to force Jesus to be the king they wanted him to be, which resulted in Jesus quickly retreating to the mountain instead. This is a powerful narrative that demonstrates how we can easily do the very same thing when we try to make Jesus fit our lifestyles, our decisions, even our political views. How are we to respond when we find ourselves frustrated with God’s timeline? Join us as we consider three questions that we can ask ourselves that will help us see Jesus, not as the king of our own narrative, but rather as the King of our lives.
